School Earthenware/Stoneware (SES) is an excellent all-round clay, perfect for both throwing and handbuilding. It's a reliable choice for beginners, offering great flexibility with its wide firing range.

This versatile body can be fired at both earthenware and stoneware temperatures, transitioning from off-white to off-white with a mottled finish.

The added grog enhances its forgiveness, making it easy to work with. This clay also pairs well with glazes from all temperature ranges, making it ideal for any project.

Texture: Medium

Firing Temperature: Earthenware, Midfire, Stoneware (1060-1300°C)

Cone: 04-10

Shrinkage: 7.1% at 1060°C, 11.6 at 1280°C

Size: Approximately 10kg
